Novi

The Novi brand name is mostly synonymous with bars of chocolate. In this sector this firm in Novi Ligure is the national leader, thanks to a 20% market quota.

Founded in 1903, Novi has been part of the Elah Dufour Group since 1985, which also holds another historical brand name of the Piemontese chocolate tradition: Baratti&Milano.

Today Novi holds three plants located in Novi Ligure, Bra, and Sassello. Together these plants produce more than 80 million bars and 200 million chocolates annually.

The firm is also a member of the consortium for the protection of the Piemontese hazelnut -I.G.P. Protected Geographical Indication.

In addition to chocolate bars - available in different flavours – other Novi specialities include: Otello chocolate, Gianduiotti, Easter eggs, Crema Novi, and the “Terre del Cacao”, with cru from Granata, Ghana, and Ecuador.
