Pastiglie Leone

This firm, founded in Alba in 1857 by Luigi Leone and later transferred to Turin, is famous for its candies but also produces excellent chocolate.

Leone classics include the Gianduioso, a gianduia spread packaged in a tube. The latest novelties include: chocolate bars flavoured with spices and aromatized with cinnamon, mint, hazelnut, red pepper, and absinthe.

Leone uses cocoa paste from Trinidad, Venezuela, and Ecuador.
