Guido Gobino

A love for tradition, the will to experiment, a passion for creativity. The blend of these three ingredients results in specialities by Guido Gobino, today one of the most prestigious signatures in Turinese chocolate arts.

It all began in 1946, when Commander Musso founded the “Laboratory for the production of chocolates and candies”. In 1964 Giuseppe Gobino took charge of the production and eventually became the sole owner of the firm.

In 1985, Guido Gobino stepped in. He is to be credited with the creation of the Laboratorio Artigianale del Gianduiotto – or “Gianduiotto Workshop”. Along with the traditional Gianduiotti they also produce Tourinot, a miniature Gianduiotto produced according to a recipe that dates back to 1860.

Other delicacies by Gobino include: cremini, wafers, hazelnut wafers, amarissimi – chocolate pralines to be tasted with Barolo Chinato – and the freschissimi, aromatized with mint, Ceylon cinnamon, ginger, and ginger lemon.
