Gerla
A refined, elegant ambience that evokes the 1930’s. The Gerla confectioner's welcomes those who visit the shop situated just a few steps from the GAM - Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art.
This confectioner’s was born in 1927 under the name of Ecclesia. In 1951 it was taken over by brothers Renato and Gino Gerla and soon became a landmark of Turinese chocolate-making. Since 1991, the owner has been Francesco Giocatto, who fully intends to maintain the name and traditions of this locale.
Gerla makes 42 types of chocolate and various pralines and bars with different percentages of cocoa, even up to 100 %. There are also the classic Gianduiotti and gianduia crème.
