Gianluca Franzoni – a.k.a. Mack Domori – is the heart and soul of this firm, which was born with a specific scope: focus on the chocolate as a food product as worthy of esteem as wine or coffee. The safeguarding of chocolate goes hand in hand with the conservation of places, culture, and populations of chocolate. The firm – which produces in the province of Turin but has its legal headquarters in Genoa – has been staging informative campaigns and concrete activities to safeguard the rain forest – the natural habitat of cocoa – as well as promoting the work of those who cultivate it.

An all-out effort to maintain values that has brought fruit to Domori’s production as well: the high-quality, organic chocolate bar called Chacao.

Domori is synonymous with other special flavours, such as aromatized blends with a mixture of spices, Dragées, cocoa beans to be chewed as a snack, and liquorice chocolates. Then there is a wide variety of bars made with high-quality cru.

Since 2004, Domori has managed the Venezuelan plantation Hacienda San José, which cultivates the most exclusive varieties of cocoa.
