Arione

The Arione confectioner’s is an elegant “salon” with small, red-velvet armchairs and marble tables in Piazza Galimberti in the centre of Cuneo.

It was here in 1923, that Andrea Arione invented Cuneesi al rum. In addition to the traditional version, today the shop produces variations with cremino, hazelnut, marron glacé, and Grand Marnier Liqueur.

At Arione’s you can also delight your taste buds with Gianduiotti and hazelnut, coffee, and orange rind pralines.
