Gran Tour of the Gourmet’s Turin

The “Torino Golosa” tour is a stroll amidst Baroque palaces, workshops, bakeries and confectioners, and historic cafés: From Caffè Torino and the historic Pasticceria Stratta of Piazza San Carlo, to Piazza Carignano where you can find the historic Caffè Pepino and Del Cambio restaurant, dating back to 1757. The tour continues on to Piazza Carlo Alberto, the Galleria Subalpina and the celebrated Caffè Baratti, then to Via Po with its Caffè Fiorio, founded in 1780 and famous for its Gianduia–flavoured ice cream.
The tour features professional guides and was developed in collaboration with the G.I.A. – the Piedmontese Association of Tour Guides, Interpreter, and Escorts.
From March 25 to April 29, every Saturday at 6 PM, leaving from the Turin Tourist Information Point inside the Atrium 2006 in Piazza Solferino. Tours in Italian and English or Italian and French, according to the majority of participants. Tickets: € 7.00.
Tour participants will be able to purchase the 24h Chocopass at the discount price of € 9 (instead of € 10) and the 48h Chocopass €14 (instead of € 15) from March 25 until April 29, 2006.
