Xocolatl: divine chocolate

The Accorsi Museum of Turin (via Po 56) invites you to “Xocolatl: divine chocolate”: a voyage to discover the roots of Turin’s passion for chocolate that can be traced back to the 17th century. On display: silverware, porcelains, copperware, moulds, and decorations designed to serve and savour this new beverage, as well as the historical ambiences where it was imbibed.
The itinerary continues through the downtown streets, aboard trams from the 1930's, to admire the most elegant squares and buildings where ladies would delight guests with the food of the gods.
Date and time: Wednesday, March 29; Saturday, April 1 at 2.45 PM

Participants: maximum 40 persons
Duration: about 2 hours (visits to the furnished rooms of the museum and tram tour)
Tasting of Peyrano chocolates.
Tickets: € 10.00 per person (admission to the museum, tram ticket, guided visit and tasting of chocolates). Holders of Museum passes: € 5.50.
