Sweetness at Museo Accorsi
14 February 2006
The memory of the special feeling between Turin and chocolate is well expressed by the precious exhibits of Museo Accorsi, for CioccolaTÒ. Chocolate caddies in copper and porcelain, and also its trembleuses and fine china cups testify the passion for the food of the gods of the European Courts during the Eighteenth century. Museo Accorsi (march, 29th–april, 1st, 2.30 p. m.) offers to the most interested visitors an unusual trip on board a historical tramcar dating back to the Thirties, to discover some of the most beautiful baroque buildings in Turin where chocolate was a rite.
