Who killed the gianduiotto?
An extraordinary premier for the 2006 edition of CioccolaTÒ: a "dinner theatre” with a murder to be solved, featuring Giorgio Faletti. Faletti will also be in Piazza San Carlo to meet with visitors to the event.
The "hot" night
An entire night to enjoy hot chocolate, full of tales inspired by chocolate read by their authors, students of the Holden School, music, concerts, and street artists in downtown Turin, at the Quadrilatero Roman, until 5 o'clock in the morning.
The CioccolaTÒ shows
The CioccolaTÒ Shows are one of the most popular moments of the Turin audiences. Music, dance, and cabaret will be a part of this year’s program for CioccolaTÒ fans.
On the stage of Piazza San Carlo you will see celebrated names of Italian cabaret and emerging new musical groups.
THE CHOCOLATE ROADS
The workshops of the masters
The wonderful magic of chocolate will be the leitmotiv of this new CioccolaTÒ 2006 event.
The best artisans will take turns preparing their appetizing masterpieces in a specially-designed workshop.
This unique opportunity to better understand this extraordinary art was created by Confartigianato, with the support of the Confesercenti and Epat.
The Cocoa Spring
Yet another innovation of CioccolaTÒ 2006, realized with the collaboration of Confartigianato, will be the Cocoa Spring.
Here is an interactive museum where the processing of cocoa is illustrated with films, images, and objects and equipment, like the cocoa tree, the ripened pods, the fermenting beans, and sacks of cocoa.
A video will illustrate the entire process, from the tree to the chocolate bar.
The Chocolate Factory
Following the success that Confartigianato’s “The Chocolate Factory” enjoyed during the last edition, the idea was further developed for the 2006 edition, so that the public may enjoy a direct contact with chocolate production.
